Winter session 2011

With the night drawing in we will be moving to our winter schedule at the beginning of October.

The last evening session on the river will be the 22nd September, the coaches will then take a well earned rest until Thursday 6th October for the first pool session. The next river session taking place 10 - 12 on Saturday 8th October. 

No formal beginners sessions take place in winter, however if the river level is suitable, members of the September intake can complete their 1 star.

The pool rolling sessions, which are currently only open to existing member, will cost £ 3:00 per person per session this year, with family price of £ 5:00.

For those of 2* standard and above the Eden has been booked for club trips between Lazonby and Armathwaite on the  23rd Oct, 27th Nov, 18th Dec (Santa Run), 22nd Jan, and the 19th Feb 2012. Lists will be put up on the club and on Facebook nearer each date to book a place. As the access agreement limit us to 20 paddlers, if a trip is over subscribed priority will be given to members who have not paddled the stretch before.

If you are not sure if you have reached the 2* standard, check with Antony or Walter before booking on a trip.

Don't forget fancy dress is expected for the Santa run
