Water Level Sources
We are aware that a number of members travel some distance to take part in Club sessions on the Eden at the Sands and can be disappointed if they find the session cancelled when they arrive. By using the following link, you can check the river level at the Linstock gauge, before you come down Whilst not an exact science because of timing differences and prevailing weather conditions, it is reasonable to assume if the level is:
> 1.2 on the gauge, river will be almost flat with no wave, session will probably be cancelled
+/- 1 on the gauge, river high but session probably ok, needs be assessed at the time on the river.
< 0.9 on the gauge, session ok
